Crispy Butter Prawns Recipe

Good for 8-10 persons , 20 minutes cooking time

Step 1

Trim the prawns, wash and drain well.

Step 2

Heat up oil for deep- frying. Coat prawns in butter and deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown and cooked. Dish and drain.

Step 3

Melt butter in a wok, saute carry leaves and chili padi until fragrant. Add in seasoning, prawns and stir fry until mixed. Dish up and serve.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 kg medium size prawns
  • 8 cups oil for deep -frying
  • 50 g salted butter or planta margarine
  • 1/2 bowl curry leaves
  • 1 tsp chopped chili padi
  • Butter (mixed)
  • 3 tbs plain flour
  • 2 tbs corn flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 100 ml water
  • Seasoning
  • 1 tsp sugar
